COMPENSATION: $74,190.00 to $141,221.00  base salary plus potential for variable compensation. Base pay is determined by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.

About Our Opportunity

The Senior Ag Retail Loan Servicing Analyst provides exceptional internal and external customer service by supporting the delivery of consumer financial services and loan servicing needs. This role analyzes and resolves more complex loan servicing, accounting, and cash management issues, ensuring accurate processing, data integrity, and compliance with established standards. The Senior Analyst contributes to process improvements and operational effectiveness while partnering with internal teams to support high-quality service delivery.

This role applies solid functional knowledge and sound judgment to deliver dependable, high-quality work with minimal direction. Team members at this level manage complex responsibilities, balance priorities effectively, and contribute meaningful insights that support team and functional performance. They are trusted to navigate varied situations, identify improvement opportunities, and operate with increasing autonomy.

The Senior Ag Retail Loan Servicing Analyst is designed for experienced team members who exceed role expectations and bring broad, diverse expertise to the team. Individuals in this role consistently deliver high quality performance while providing guidance, leadership, and support to peers.

Individuals in this role train team members while serving as a subject matter expert for internal partners and departments across the Association. Proactively identifies solutions, leads by positive example, and supports organizational change through influence and collaboration.

How You Will Spend Your Time

  • Processes, reviews, and validates complex loan servicing transactions, calculations, and accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to procedures.
  • Analyzes and resolves complex servicing, accounting, and cash management issues, escalating higher-risk or non-routine items as needed.
  • Maintains and reviews loan, customer, and system data; performs reconciliations and reporting to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Partners with internal teams and stakeholders; to research inquiries, interpret loan agreements, and provide clear and accurate information to support servicing needs.
  • Contributes to process improvements, documentation updates, and operational consistency by identifying inefficiencies, supporting standardization, and assisting with testing, reporting, and audit activities.
  • Monitors the team workload dashboard to ensure balance across the team and work is completed in alignment with established service level agreements (SLAs). Identifies gaps or capacity issues and redistributes workload as needed to met organizational priorities.
  • Manages assigned work with minimal direction delivering a high degree of accuracy, quality and timely completion.
  • Applies functional knowledge and judgment to evaluate information and make informed decisions.
  • Anticipates needs, manages competing priorities, and proactively communicates status or risks.
  • Supports process improvements by identifying gaps and recommending practical solutions.
  • Collaborates effectively across teams to advance shared goals and business outcomes.
  • Serves as a resource to less experienced team members through informal guidance.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED with 7 years relevant experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree with 3 years relevant experience preferred.

Mental & Physical Requirements

While performing the responsibilities of this role, team members typically sit for extended periods, use hands for computer and office tasks, and communicate verbally. Standing or walking may be required on a frequent basis, with occasional reaching, lifting, or moving items weighing up to ten pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision. The work environment generally involves a moderate noise level. This role requires sustained mental focus, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, with extended computer use common. Some positions may include additional physical or mental requirements related to driving, such as holding a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel long distances.
