Compensation: The salary range for this position is estimated to be $91,854.00 – $178,402.00 annualized, which reflects the company’s current estimate of the potential compensation range at the time of posting. This salary range reflects the anticipated compensation for this position and represents one component of the total rewards package. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, qualifications, and allotted budget. About Our Opportunity

The Director Crop Insurance Inside Sales provides leadership, direction, and coaching to a field-based team responsible for maintaining a crop insurance portfolio of less complex operations, enabling the team to meet growth and retention goals while supporting the efforts of the outside sales team. The position partners closely with sales and operations to provide a seamless insurance process and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

The Director Crop Insurance Inside Sales provides operational leadership for a defined function, aligning work with organizational goals and priorities. They build strong partnerships, lead complex initiatives, and create clarity for their teams. Directors foster a coaching culture, develop talent, and promote collaboration to advance shared outcomes across the Association.

How You Will Spend Your Time

Monitors and evaluates workflow volume, directs workload allocation across the team and maintains service level compliance and quality assurance standards.
Serves as an escalation point by providing technical guidance and problem resolution to team members, colleagues, and/or customers.
Ensures adherence to crop insurance program rules, documentation standards, and compliance regulations.
Provides clear goals, plans, and expectations that translate strategy into action.
Leads complex initiatives that improve performance, quality, or innovation.
Develops team members through coaching, feedback, and accountability.
Builds strong partnerships across the Association resulting in alignment and coordinated execution.
Exercises sound judgment to balance business needs, risk, and customer impact.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree with 5 years relevant experience.
Experience leading a distributed or hybrid sales team preferred.
Crop insurance experience is preferred.
Experience building or improving inside-sales processes, workflows, and performance expectations preferred.
Willingness to travel approximately 25%, including occasional overnight travel.
Louisville, KY preferred location.

Mental & Physical Requirements

While performing the responsibilities of this role, team members typically sit for extended periods, use hands for computer and office tasks, and communicate verbally. Standing or walking may be required on a frequent basis, with occasional reaching, lifting, or moving items weighing up to ten pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision. The work environment generally involves a moderate noise level.

This role requires sustained mental focus, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, with extended computer use common. Some positions may include additional physical or mental requirements related to driving, such as holding a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel long distances.
