COMPENSATION: $60,265.00 to $112,400.00  base salary plus potential for variable compensation. Base pay is determined by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.

About Our Opportunity

The Food and Agribusiness (FAB) Loan Servicing Analyst supports the servicing and administration of complex loan portfolios, including participations, syndications, and capital markets products. This role analyzes and resolves more complex loan servicing, accounting, and cash management issues, ensuring accurate processing, data integrity, and compliance with established standards. The Analyst contributes to process improvements and operational effectiveness while partnering with internal teams to support high-quality service delivery.
This role contributes independently to routine and recurring work with growing confidence and consistency. It applies established procedures, manages assigned responsibilities effectively, and collaborates with others to support business outcomes. Team members at this level are expanding functional knowledge, strengthening judgment, and developing problem-solving skills within defined parameters.

How You Will Spend Your Time

  • Process, review, and validate complex loan servicing transactions, calculations, and accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to procedures.
  • Analyze and resolve moderately complex servicing, accounting, and cash management issues, escalating higher-risk or non-routine items as needed.
  • Execute domestic and international cash management activities, including wires, ACH, settlements, reconciliations, and payment issue resolution, following established controls and fraud prevention protocols.
  • Maintain and review loan, customer, and system data; perform reconciliations and reporting to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to research inquiries, interpret loan agreements, and provide clear and accurate information to support servicing needs.
  • Contribute to process improvements, documentation updates, and operational consistency by identifying inefficiencies, supporting standardization, and assisting with testing, reporting, and audit activities.
  • Completes routine assignments independently using established procedures and sound judgment.
  • Applies working knowledge to resolve common issues and identifies when to seek guidance.
  • Communicates clearly with teammates and internal partners to support coordinated work.
  • Organizes workload to meet deadlines and deliver consistent, reliable outcomes.
  • Contributes ideas that strengthen processes, accuracy, and effectiveness.
  • Uses available tools and resources to resolve straightforward issues and improve confidence.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED with 5 years relevant experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree with 1 years relevant experience preferred. 

Mental & Physical Requirements

While engaged in this position, team members will routinely sit, use hands for tasks, and communicate orally. Standing or walking is frequently required, while occasional demands include reaching with hands and arms, and lifting or moving up to ten pounds. Vision requirements encompass close and distance vision. The work environment typically has a moderate noise level. This role may entail a blend of mental and physical capabilities, requiring strong mental acuity, problem-solving skills, and occasional physical tasks such as standing, lifting, or extended computer usage. Some roles may require physical or mental requirements related to driving, such as a valid driver's license, and the ability to drive a long-distance.
