SCHEDULE: Full Time, Hybrid
TRAVEL REQUIRED: 0% - 10%
COMPENSATION: $72,380.00 to $137,777.00 base salary plus potential for variable compensation. Base pay is determined by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.
About Our Opportunity
The Operations Training Manager leads the planning, development, design and execution of operational training programs across the Association. Embedded within business units, this role identifies process and system-related learning needs and creates timely, effective training solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. The Operations Training Manager ensures that team members in operations, servicing, and support roles are fully equipped to perform their jobs to standard.
How You Will Spend Your Time
- Analyzes business requirements, models workflows, and translates needs into actionable training strategies or system enhancements that meet the business needs and deliver the desired outcomes.
- Partners with operational and enterprise leaders to identify training needs and performance gaps.
- Leverages data analytics, reporting, and performance metrics to refine strategies, improve user experience, and drive business growth.
- Maintains knowledge of industry best-practices and integrates them into operational training programs.
- Utilizes learning technologies and digital content platforms to scale training delivery.
- Applies instructional design techniques to design, deliver, and measure training solutions tailored to the specific needs of the business.
- Collaborates with internal teams, external partners, and leadership to facilitate communication, alignment, and measurable success.
- Provides expert guidance and problem-solving support to internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
- Maintains knowledge of industry best practices and integrate them into training strategies.
Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree and eight years of experience required. A developing learning professional with foundational expertise in developing and designing training initiatives, project management, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration. Works under moderate supervision, focusing on tactical execution and operational support. Ideal for candidates building their strategic thinking and business acumen within a structured environment. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
