COMPENSATION: $78,522.00 to $150,980.00  base salary plus potential for variable compensation. Base pay is determined by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.

About Our Opportunity

Our Product Analyst supports the Product team in product planning, delivery coordination and monitoring product performance and capabilities through data-driven analysis. 

This role facilitates data collection and reporting that can help the team identify product opportunities that drive the most business value and help convey insights with data driven storytelling. In addition, a team member in this role helps coordinate with vendors, both established and prospective for things like adoption of new features and releases, evaluation of breaking changes and, in some cases, vendor relationship management.

How You Will Spend Your Time

  • Coordinate the delivery of complex product updates by tracking milestones and organizing the work - collaborate with relevant stakeholders to facilitate change management within the organization.
  • Work with vendors to understand their product lifecycle changes and assess how to adopt, update and sunset vendor capabilities and products.
  • Gather and analyze competitive intelligence and internal data to benchmark FCMA’s product performance that drive informed decisions about value-oriented enhancements.
  • Manage and consolidate user feedback, UX research and other inputs to create a product feedback loop that allows Product Owners to feed the backlog.
  • Design and implement experiments whose results help the Product Owners and UX designers refine feature direction.
  • Coordinate and facilitate user interviews when needed.
  • Work with the Customer Experience team to coordinate customer research when needed.
  • Create processes that facilitate product delivery and a rapid feedback loop with the business on upcoming and current features. Help communicate upcoming product changes.
  • Implement and refine tools that provide department-wide visibility into the product team’s progress on executing the roadmap; update these tools with the latest relevant status information weekly.

Minimum Education & Experience

Bachelors degree preferred. 2 years experience in a product centric or business analyst role and relevant experience and understanding of business functions, workflows, and processes.

Experience and knowledge in principles, policies and practices applicable to product strategy, product operations, competitive intelligence; critical economic, political and industry issues affecting agricultural and consumer lending; loan origination and accounting systems, and business automation and technology.

Mental & Physical Requirements

While engaged in this position, team members will routinely sit, use hands for tasks, and communicate orally. Standing or walking is frequently required, while occasional demands include reaching with hands and arms, and lifting or moving up to ten pounds. Vision requirements encompass close and distance vision. The work environment typically has a moderate noise level. This role may entail a blend of mental and physical capabilities, requiring strong mental acuity, problem-solving skills, and occasional physical tasks such as standing, lifting, or extended computer usage. Some roles may require physical or mental requirements related to driving, such as a valid driver's license, and the ability to drive a long-distance.
